I Iive in South Wales, UK and love nothing more than hitting the road on my Enfield Himalayan which I've had for a few years.
I've been riding for almost 40 years and have never been without a bike, having had everything from big CC cruisers, rapid sports bikes, classic roadsters and vintage classics, I've been on the club scene and attended many rallies over the years but in 2018 I decided to hang up my leathers and bought the Himalayan. It's like being 16 all over again, I get out on the trails and green lanes, spending hours by myself, enjoying the solitude and scenery. But that's not all I do, my partner and I have a VW T4 in which we travel all over the UK, spending a fortnight in Scotland at the end of May for the last 7 years, which is simply stunning, the UK has so much to offer. I enjoy fishing, sea and fresh water, just more time to relax and enjoy nature but I also enjoy technology, my occupation is working in IT, so tech is very much a part of my life, I'm a practicing HAM radio operator and maintain a weather station, see the link above, I decode satellite images and provide data to the Metoffice and other meteorogical organisations, I tinker a lot, especially with vintage tech, I 'sadly' run a BBS which if you were online in the 80's and 90's you'd know what I on about, perhaps why I like to escape to country so much!
