I Iive in South Wales, UK
and love nothing more than travelling, being outdoors, in
the countryside, by the sea, trying new things and seeing
how others live.
My wife and I did have a VW
T4 in which we travelled all over the UK, spending a
fortnight in Scotland at the end of May for many years,
the UK has so much to offer. A few years back we
'upgraded' to a hi-top, lwb Transit van which we converted
to a camper, with more space and the ability to stand up,
it's almost luxury. We've recently started venturing a
little further, and have had a few trips to France.
I've
been riding since the mid 80's and never been without a
bike, having had everything from big CC cruisers, rapid
sports bikes, classic roadsters and vintage classics,
I've been on the club scene and attended many rallies
over the years, helped raise thousands of pounds for
charity, having ridden over 2000 miles across Southern
India in 2004, a truly life changing experience.
I enjoy fishing, sea and fresh water, bushcraft,
foraging, and generally enjoy being in nature on the flip
side I have a passion for technology, my occupation is in
IT, so tech is very much a part of my life.
I'm a practicing HAM radio operator and maintain a weather
station, providing data to the Metoffice and other
meteorogical organisations.
